First of all, welcome to the forum! I have no experience in trapping fox with rubber jawed traps, but I would make sure to check your state laws to make sure this is legal in your state. You can make or buy a catch pole and you put the around the animals neck so you are able to remove the trap from its foot and to move the animal around so no harm is done to yourself or the animal.

I use Red Fox Urine, along with my homeade baits and lures (I also like to use Hawbaker and Cavens lures).

I have not used it, but I would think that more urine from a reputable company would be good. I usually get mine from Buckeye Trap Supply, Cumberlands, and Kaatz Bros, all attracted animals and were as good as each other.

baitboy, If you contact the president of the VTA he can steer you in the right direction. He is on the pen permit. Might be a little late to get on the permit this year as they started trapping Sept. 1. You don't have to take them anywhere because the pen owner comes and picks them up. You just have to have the proper and accurate records of where caught, male or female and what not. You also have to have a couple holding pens to keep them in till he gets there as well as ample food and water. He will also reject them if they have bad feet or mange. Give Steve a call he can give you all the info.
