The New House traps I picked up at a antique shop in Becker Co Minnesota. Some one had taken very good care of them the best shape I've seen for that old of a trap. There was only 6 (1/2 doz) I paid $30. I stake them down good so the Fox or coyote leave with one.

The farm that I trap on doesn't wont me to use rebar (to hard on equipment) So I use wood and plastic and double stake when using Newhouse traps. I'll be heading up to Minnesota at the end of June first of July To fish and trap. Here in Missouri, we don't have pocket gophers only moles.

Why are DK just a 1 star? Does WD 40 spook them, as I heard it speeds up the trap? i just don`t care for them, but i don`t know everything so if they work good for you, by all means use them i was just stating what has worked the best for me,just a personal preference

Just was curious about an explanation for it is all. I might try some of the others, but if I miss a few its not a big deal since I am just helping the landowners a little.
